Hi im having a lil problem when I start my car the ABS light comes on breifly like it should, but as soon as i start driving it and hit the brakes it makes this strange grinding noise. When i get up to 20 Mph for 3 seconds the ABS light comes on and then when i apply the brake it doesent grind at all i just changed my brakes about a year ago or 10,000 miles ago.

The grinding noise you are hearing may be the ABS system activating. The system may be activating when it should not due to a failing wheel speed sensor. The grinding does not occur when the ABS light is on because the ABS system is disabled when the warning light is on. Fault codes stored in the ABS control module should be retrieved and properly diagnosed in order to begin to isolate the cause of your fault.
