Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your Nissan Altima. On this model your vehicle has a computer called he BCM (body control module). The BCM supplies power to the window switches. The BCM should supply this power to those switches anytime the ignition is on, the engine is running and when you turn off the engine until you open a front door or until a set amount of time has passed since the ignition was turned off. If you have power at the windows at all times this can indicate an internal electrical fault in the BCM itself to where it is giving the switches power at all times. I recommend having this tested by a reputable repair facility to help pinpoint the BCM as the cause and to see if anything else is creating this concern so it can then be repaired properly from there.
