If you can absolutely say there's no external leaks, then it must be using oil. Try warming up the engine, turn it off and let it sit for exactly 1 minute. Check the oil and top it up to exactly the "full" line. Drive for 500 miles and perform exactly the same check, see how much oil it used. Let us know what you find out.
