Issues concerning passenger front wheel

What is your question?

Sometimes when I run over bump or hit even a small pothole with the passenger front tire I feel a violent jolt and a loud thunking noise coming from the wheel well. It's quite startling and disturbing. It's so obvious that sometimes I feel like the wheel has just broken off. Any ideas on what may be causing this?

Check suspension on that tire. Jack the car up on jack stands, and try moving the tire in different directions (front to back, in/out, ect). There should be no play, wheel should be stiff. You may need someone to look at the different suspensions components to pin point the loose bushing while you move the tire. BE SURE TO SECURE THE CAR SAFELY ON JACK STANDS, and DO NOT GET UNDER IT.
