What is your question?
Hi, I have a 2003 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL. Car drives like a beauty most of the times but when i'm driving on the highway at 60-70 mph, I get occasional vibrations in the steering wheel. It's not due to road surface. I have checked. I was told by a mechanic that my rear alignment is off by 1 or 2 degrees and it's stuck. Will cost about $400 to fix. He said it's not urgent since i don't have excessive tire wear. he said i should just do wheel rotation and keep driving. Does anyone agree with this diagnosis? Please help.

when was the last time you had tires balanced? usually less than $50, (get the fronts done only, cheaper still and see if that solves it ) easy enough to do, I'd try that first. If you feel vibrations in the steering wheel i seriously doubt your problem is related to the rear tires.
Thank you for your reply. I got this car in January. I have never got the tires balanced since getting the car. I shall get all 4 tires balances and see if it solves the issue. Thanks. Also, could this issue have anything to with the shocks of the car? Or the wheel bearing?
If a wheel bearing were bad it would make an audible noise, usually a rumble type noise that got louder as the speed increased. I doubt you issue is related to a bad shock or strut.
