After the battery has been replaced or the throttle butterfly has been cleaned it is necessary to relearn the idle speed but if the idle speed is out of specification it usually sets a check engine/service engine soon light. Perhaps the idle speed needs to be relearned unfortunately the best way to relearn the idle speed is by using the Nissan factory scan tool.
