What is your question?
Started it up yesterday afternoon and the charging light and emergency brake light both came on. Brake fluid was full, e brake was down. Put a new alternator in (an Ultima from O'Reillys) and started her up but the lights were still on. Sounded a bit better at least. Went back and cleaned the connections and grounds, and made sure everything was tight. Checked generator fuse (#26) in fuse box, not blown, and wiring looked fine from what I could see. When I tested the battery this morning it was sitting at 12.36V a low charge. I went to AutoZone and battery was too low to test the alternator. Since the lights came on before I replaced the alternator, unless it's faulty I would assume its not the problem. The battery is fine, but something must be slightly draining it, right? I'm not really sure where to look next so any advice would be greatly appreciated. The harness seems a bit old could it be that? Bad terminals? Could a rusty ground do it? Old drive belt?
What makes this problem better or worse?
It acts completely fine

Hello, it's difficult because no one can vouch for the proper operation of the "new" alternator; your battery does have to be in good shape and fully charged to be able to test the charging system properly. Have the battery charged and tested first, then check the charging system.
