How much should I expect to pay to repair/replace a cracked head on the engine?

a new head is about 650. then all has to be tranferred . a used head is about 350 complete and has to be checked to see if it is ok. the labor is about 8 to 10 hours. there are fluids and miss parts. I would figure close to 1500-2000. remember, after this is done, you still need to find out why it overheated. Roy
