Have modified 370z. Vortech S/C. I want performance MAF. Will car need retuning?

Car hesitates sometimes. Sometimes stalls out. Have cleaned MAF sensor. Helps a little. Car has 143,000 miles. I want to buy JET performance MAF sensor. I had Stillen install Vortech V3 S/C about 2 years ago. I want to know if retuning will be necessary with new MAF sensor since the car was modified with the original factory MAF sensors. Does it make a difference?
