Not sure what you're asking, but it's always best to have the shop recheck the work and do what's necessary to follow through as it was apparently working before you took the vehicle there for the work. If they don't know, ask them to refer you to someone who would know, and see if they'd like to assist in getting the diagnostic test completed.
