What is your question?
Checked spark plugs, wires, compression on each cylinder, replaced distributor & rotor. Made sure fuel injectors are working. Not getting spark to cylinder #2.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Cylinder #2 not getting any spark
How long has your 1996 Nissan 200SX had this problem?

This could be an alignment issue with the rotor. Best bet is to take it apart again and make sure its sitting in there properly. With just one coil it should either spark on all cylinders or none. Alex
Switched plug wires with another one, still had the same problem. Checked to make sure the spark plug with the wire attached has spark, and it did.
Since you posted *proper testing* has confirmed there is sufficient compression and fuel delivery (?) - the only thing I can think of is the long spark plug boot has failed and is letting the spark jump through it to a metal ground when it is installed on the spark plug - as in the metal spark plug tube .... Also be sure there is no oil ponding up inside the spark plug tube as that will also cause a misfire .. Based on posted information - I strongly suspect the spark plug wire is the culprit! (Ignition coil is 'inside' the distributor) Good luck with it!
