1995 Nissan 200SX Car won't start. Engine has fuel and spark. Dash tach shows no rpms w/ rotation.

What is your question?
I read that voltage to CKPS should be 5 volts but I only measure 9.5 mV. Resistance in CKPS measured 485 ohms. Is problem in ECM? Or should I look else where?

Thanx.... Will try compression. Still wonder why no voltage (which according to wiring diagram comes from ECM) is measureable at the CKPS with key on. Also I usually see tach rpms when starting the car but now no rpms showing.
Well it takes > fuel...spark...compression .. to make the engine run. IF it has good hot spark and fuel getting onto the cylinders it should at least backfire or make an attempt to start.. You may have a distributor problem as that's where the tach signal is generated...check cap & rotor as well..!!!.. **Test 'ALL' fuses!!!!!!**
I'm an old man (70+) and have done this a few times. First thing I did was test all fuses and electrical connections; then plugs, ignition wire resistance, distributor cap and rotor. Next checks were fuel pressure, injector pulse. Unfortunately, I know little about ECM. It just seems to me that ECM needs to know rotation speed to send correct injection timing. Are we sure that the ECM uses camshaft speed (distributor) and not crankshaft speed (CKPS) for injector timing. I'm checking the compression this afternoon. Thanx......
I check compression and all cylinders measured low (120, 130, 135, 135 psi) vs 178 psi shown in manual. Must have lost the head gasket. Thanx for the suggestion on compression. It appears that the non-functioning tach was not related to starting problem. Simply sent me in wrong direction.
