When car is driven over 2 hours straight in hot outside temperatures, dash light comes on that says “4WD system overheating slow down”. This occurs when car is being driven in AWD eco mode, so car is essentially driving in FWD on the highway.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Colder weather, stopping car every 2 hours for a break
How long has your 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander had this problem?

Hello, see your local Mitsubishi dealership for diagnostic testing and repairs; I'd imagine you still have warranty coverage, provided nothing is physically damaged. Also, ensure you have 4 identical tires on the vehicle with similar tread depth -- dissimilar tires can cause problems.
