What is your question?
The air conditioner makes a hissing sound, like air being let out of a balloon. It was checked and re gassed but it happened again after 10 days. No leaks were found and the system was all out of gas. If it's not a leak what is it?
How long has your 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander had this problem?
A few weeks

Hello, If the system loses any refrigerant at all, it has a leak. So, you are not confused, you are thinking about this the right way, but you are being told incorrectly. A professional should know that any time refrigerant is missing from the system, a leak must be repairs. Further, if the system has been depressurized, the leak has allowed moisture into the receiver/drier or accumulator, so that component (whichever your vehicle uses, one or the other) will need to be replaced due to high moisture in the desiccant bag. Use a certified technician at a reputable shop. They should never have filled a leaking refrigerant system.
