What is your question?
I have a 2009 mits outlander. The car started acting funny by not starting. everything turns on but wouldn't even turn over. this then lead to the stereo not working when the car finally did start. It was like a switch turned on and all of a sudden it would start. The check engine light came on not shortly after. The vehicle was taken to a local shop, nearest mits dealership or shop is 8 1/2 hour drive away from where we live, and we plugged it in to run the code. It came back ECM/PCM issues. The car will work for days then just not start randomly for a few minutes up to a couple days. Then just start perfectly fine. The local mechanic contacted Mits and they indicated that replacing the ecm/pcm could only be done at a dealership. The issue is that we cant get to a dealership in the short term and if we do we will have to get gas on the way and the vehicle may die in the middle of no where.
