Hello, I just purchased this car. Got it for a good price, however the seller warned me that the gauges on the instrument panel (MPH, RPM, Gas, Mileage) sometimes stop working. They just went out. The gauges light up, when I turn the lights on, but thats it. Any ideas on how to fix it. I have considered just replacing the whole instrument cluster. What do you guys think??

It sounds like the power supply in the gauge cluster is failing. I think the most direct way to fix it is to send out the cluster for repair. Your Mitsubishi mechanic would know where to send it.
