What is your question?
3 times per minute and only stays on for 5 seconds
What makes this problem better or worse?
noticeable when idling
How long has your 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport had this problem?
since new
Thanks - I did and they said it was OK - Just seemed to me that the short cycling would cause excessive wear and tear resulting in short life span and need replacing eventually. Appreciate your advise
I agree - that does seem rather strange to me also - and I’ve been in the auto repair business for a very *long* time... I think I would ask the service manager to show me another 2017 Outlander that does the same thing. Have them make a note of this issue for future reference if needed.
2017 Outlander Sport has only 6000 miles on it and the on and off when stopped at a light is a very loud click and the RPM bumps up and down
I still say that’s caused by the a/c compressor cycling on and off !! Rpms change with each compressor cycle - also would account for the clicking noise.
Warranty repair!
AC working OK - Just thinking the off and on 3 times per minute will wear out switch and or compressor? Just on for about 5 seconds and shuts off
That’s normally associated with a/c compressor cycling on / off .. You should have Mitsubishi dealer check it out @ *NO CHARGE*..
