I think by 'crank' you mean 'start.' Cranking is turning the engine over with the starter so it will catch and start running. I say that because you are not asking about the battery or starter but about fuel. Therefore, I suspect that your fuel pump is failing so you crank the cngine but it won't start running, just cranks.
