Light switch broke

It can be done, but you would have to have a really good understanding of wiring diagrams. Especially with Mitsubishi's 30 year old diagrams - they are a bit roughly drawn & harder to read than modern diagrams.

Highly recommend combination switch replacement instead. Fix it right to start with - and be done with it.
