Car was keyed

What is your question?

Unfortunately I woke up one morning to my car keyed all the way around. The scratches are not deep they just cover a wide area. Does $2500 dollars to fix it seem extremely excessive to you all? I think it sounds way too high but then again I have never had this happen before. Does anyone know anyplace that it could be done for drastic price reduction? I am not even close to a point in my life where I can spare 2500 bucks. It feels like a million!
