What is your question?
I just bought this car and didn't see the cluster of wires under the dash. A wiring diagram for the SES light would help. There's other things that don't work like the door buzzer and the lights for the shifter and the anti theft light. But they're not really important. I need to fix the SES so it can pass NY inspection. It failed inspection..... MIL COMMANDED Failure and cylinder 4 misfire that I'm hoping is just plugs, wires etc..

Hello, For the misfire, just remove the #4 wire (both ends) and swap it for the #3 wire (both ends). If your code changes from P0304 to P0303, the #4 wire is bad. If not, do the same with the spark plug. For a chopped up wiring harness, you will definitely need a new harness or an automotive electrician. If you are very good with it, and can find the schematics online (They're out there for free), you may be able to patch it up. From the sound of it, someone chopped up the harness to deactivate the anti-theft system and SES to sell it, and that is fraud. You may want to see what the state law says on private sales of vehicles with faulty check engine lights, and known issues. Here is a link for certified shops in your area: http://repairpal.com/mitsubishi-within-10-miles-of-watkins-glen-new-york-14891 In he future, have a pre-purchase inspection done by an ASE certified tech. These issues would have been caught right away. Good luck, and sorry about your misfortune.
