What could be the issue if I was driving, the car stopped & won't crank back up?

I have purchased spark plugs, starter, alternator, battery, had the fuel pump checked and that's not it. What could be another reason for it?

What makes this problem better or worse?

the battery,starter, and alternator helps, but it still won't crank. Could it be the timing is off?
