I have a Galant that has just under 70,000 miles on it. I was told the tie rods needed to be replaced. How often should the tie rods be replaced?

It really depends on few things, like road conditions, the condition of suspension parts. If it lasted for 70K it isn't bad at all. Make sure they check the entire steering and suspension system and get a wheel alignment also. Zee
with the newer cars, there are no more grease fittings. they do last longer but need to be replaced around the mileage you have. Roy
