What is your question?
my air conditioner is frequently stopping to work and then kicks back in after a few days. Then water flooded the passenger side of the car one day. Dealer told me the suction line must be clogged ahd that that would cause the line to freeze and when thawed water to come into the car and then the air conditioner would start working again. Is this a common problem. Can only a dealer repair this?

Yes it is a fairly common problem and if you can locate the evaporator drain you can flush it. Dealer can do it for a premium.
