The air conditioner is leaking. Took to repair shop where they added freon and told that for some unknown reason the 2 caps were missing. Is this a common problem and what is the recommended repair? Thank you

someone did servicing on it before and did not replace the caps. no big deal. you need to have a dye added and a light to determine the leak. then you can get an estimate for repairs. Roy
