The parking lights, dash lights, radio illumination will not come on.

Brake lights work, just no parking lights,dash, license plate illumination will not work.

Check fuses under hood next to battery. There should be a plastic cover next to battery and might say fuse on cover. Under cover sometimes list the fuse number and name of component. Look for tail light relay,fuse number 8,and is a 10 amp fuse and color is red. A lot of the times the cigarette lighter with a phone charger or similar gadget will blow that fuse.
