why wont the car start

That's such a hard question to answer without doing a battery of testing. Double check all wiring connections. Chances are something is not getting through to the engine's processor to allow full functions from all components. Is the motor you installed a direct replacement or did you install an unknown used motor? Basic spark, fuel, air and exhaust testing needs to be done. Good luck.
