Hello, your engine bay should always be pretty hot! Engine's typically run internally at temperatures of about 200 degrees Fahrenheit, so this will definitely generate a lot of ambient heat just opening the hood. Not sure what to say about "broken fan" sound; this is something that needs to be observed by a trained technician near you who can hear the noise and give advice as to what may be causing it, or what steps will be needed to determine the root cause.
