My 2007 mitsubishi endeavor is all the sudden have idle issues

it starts great but when i stop at lights or really whenever I stop the idle is so low it sometimes dies but it always starts right back up. About a week ago when it started the battery just went dead all the sudden so I took it off and cleaned the connections and put them right back on. The next day the idle was really low and thats where I am at now
