Multiple issues can cause that same issue to happen. First off do you have a check engine light on? Does it run smooth or rough? Did it just start happening? I would really recommend having a shop look at the issue to see what it could be. Just to show how many things can cause this I will list a few : vacuum leak, fuel pressure, mass air flow sensor, tune up issue, timing issue, cat issue. Feel free to find the best choice of shop for you and bring it in. I hope this helped
Your 2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor is equipped with an onboard computer. You should start by having the computer scanned for error codes. Many shops, including ours, will perform the scan at no charge. Thanks. David@ApexAutoAz.com
