2008 eclipse won't start acts like out of gas replaced fuel pump still won't start what else

You need to verify fuel pressure to see if its getting fuel for sure or not. Next I would check injector pulse to make sure the computer is telling the injectors to fire. Also worth checking to see if spark is present or not.

Dumb as it may sound, have you had any issues with your keyless entry? I replaced the battery in my key (I have an '08 Spyder GT), and accidentally put it in backwards. This little mistake disabled the car! The engine would turn over as normal, but it was like it had no gas or no spark. It's part of the security system. If that seems like a possibility, try just taking the battery OUT of the key.
