Where is brake switch located?

Sounds like it could be a brake light switch issue, or a shift lever interlock mechanism issue. The brake light switch is located at the brake pedal. Check the switch and connector for proper operation and electrical function. You may find, though, that the shift lever is not engaging the Park position properly and this would be the thing that prevents the key from coming out.
