POWER STEERING BELT AND MOTIR NOUNT BROKE IN HALF

Hi Tina, No. No correlation whatsoever. The belt and mount are both pretty cheap and fast fixes, and driving without power steering will give you some good exercise. However, the longer you drive on a bad motor mount, the greater the probability of the other engine/transmission mounts failing grows exponentially. Do your Eclipse a favor, and use the estimator tool to find out what it costs to repair. The link is here: https://repairpal.com/estimator/mitsubishi/eclipse Changing the 1 motor mount now, will be far cheaper than replacing them all later. Of course, the mounts could already be damaged, and a quick inspection from a professional technician will alert you if that is the case.
