What would cause my Mitsubishi eclipse spider to lose fire and power to fule pump. I hit a bump with water in it and my car just died. It hasn't started since.

What is your question?

I suspect that hitting that bump knocked something loose, probably an electrical connection. First, check fuse for fuel pump. Next, look under the car for any signs of damage, disconnected wires hanging, etc.
