IT SOUNDS LIKE IT COULD BE A BEARRING IN THE OIL PAN IF SO YOU HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM INTURNAL PROBLEM MAJOR WORK.BUT IF ITS SOUNDS LIKE A TICKING NOISE THEN EITHER YOUR OIL NEEDS TO MOVE TO HEAVY OIL THEN WHAT YOU BUT 03 SHOULD ONLY 5W20 GO UP TO 5W30 AND CHANGE YOUR GRADE OF GAS IF YOU USE 87 GO UP TO NEXT GRADE UP
I had two customers with Mitsubishis that had bad bearings on acceleration when the engines knock sensor picked up the noise from the bad rod bearing you could see the rev counter bounce back (computer was retarding the ignition timing). Try a fill of Premium gas and a bottle or two of good fuel injector cleaner in the tank, and ensure the EGR system is working correctly (it is there to lower combustion chamber temperatures and reduce knock).
Thank you I will try it out and ill let you know
It makes a ticking noise wants and while when I accelerate only if I'm not listening to music I can hear it. I'm not sure if its the spark plugs being on too tight or if something got messed up on a break change. I use premium gas I beleave it 91 or 92. And the oil in my car is full synthetic
