EGR Valve?

My check engine light is on. I've been told that the code indicates an EGR problem. When the EGR Valve is replaced, does the EGR Solenoid have to be replaced as well?

No, it does not have to be replaced if it works correctly. It could be checked / tested by a technician, it's a simple test. Zee
