My car gauges says neutral but is in park and has power but wont start

It sounds like you have some type of problem with the park, neutral, safety switch. This is just a guess, there could be any number of problems causing this issue. I would recommend scanning all modules for trouble codes first. This is not going to be a diagnosis, but it may help your diagnosis. I would also recommend getting a wiring diagram for the gear selector switch and doing the proper circuit testing to help determine the problem.
