gotten the manual showing all engines but not the one I have. can not determine where the crankshaft position sensor is located. can you perhaps suggest some places to look

Hello, All Diamante models have a single sensor for camshaft and crankshaft position. If you have a distributor, it is inside the distributor. If you do not have a distributor, it is at the lower left front of the engine. Again, one sensor, one connector, and it acts as the crank and cam position sensor because Mitsubishi.
