What is your question?
Checked coils replaced PTU replaced timing belt and all pulleys and tensioner water pump timing is dead on . Checked fuses grounds etc. have spark at cylinders 1and 4 did find original ignition wire to starter dead and someone had put a jumper from fuse panel under hood to starter does roll over that way. They also replaced starter ..
What makes this problem better or worse?
If I unplug the condenser by the coils I then have no spark
How long has your 1998 Mitsubishi 3000GT had this problem?
I just bought the car a week ago didn’t run then though it was timing that’s why I did belt and pulleys and water pump

Get rid of all the "jumpers" - and return the vehicle to factory condition. Obviously it's a mystery after others have worked on it and now you've worked on it. It's going to take some careful efforts to find out what is going on. Get the vehicle back to "factory" as built condition, and start testing from the top. A good diagnostic tool and repair manual is essential to get to the bottom of your concern.
