tachometer isn't working properly

What is your question?

sometimes when I first start the car in the morning it works but not properly. the tach does move but only up to 2000 rpm then stops working. other times it doesn't work at all. plus my speed isn't accurate either? what's the problem?

Probably a bad speedo cluster, or the connect where the harness plugs into the cluster. The speed and tach are coming from two different signals, so I would say the cluster, or you could possibly have two separate problems. The tach signal comes from the ptu (ignition module), and the speed from a sensor in the trans.
