Will changing engine air filter to Non-OEM brand void warranty?

It will not specifically void any warranty. However, if a fault or failure can be attributed to this filter not doing what it should be doing, then yes - it can cause denial of a related warranty claim. My question would be - what warranty still applies on your Mini? Factory warranty appears to be all but expired.
