engine is a stick. alternator & timing chain were recently replaced. Various sensors have been checked. Battery checked. Dealer drove over 200 miles at last check, and it seemed fine. Drove 59 miles home and the light came on. Engine takes to count of 8 to start. Engine sounds fine and drives well.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Dealer works on it, but after driving a distance, the light comes on

Hello, the obvious answer is: have the dealership resolve the concern, as they've been involved, and they're literally the most knowledgable and connected with diagnostic equipment and tools. But, be persistent - work with service management to ensure you can resolve the concern. Fuel delivery - ignition spark - air intake - emissions controls - engine compression - engine timing -- all those elements must be checked to see what's going on.
