Ignition will not start the car

Hello, First, the battery should be checked to see if it is properly fully charged and able to sustain a load. If so, then testing must continue in the starting system. The starter and cabling should be checked for resistance and excessive draw. Start with the battery though -- could be a relatively easy solution.
