Sliding roof will not close fully. It get to the tilt position then that’s as far as it goes.

What is your question?

The first time this happened the switch was very hot from the sun when we opened it. Then when we went to close it there was a clicking sound like plastic and it would not close fully, if you press the button to open it, it runs as normal but when you go to close it if you keep your finger on the switch it it will stop and go the other way like there is an obstruction. This will happen until we get it to the tilt position where this is as far as it goes. On getting to the tilt position we press the switch there is a click then again it will start to open and not close fully.

What makes this problem better or worse?

Nothing at present other than intermittent pressing of button to close to tilt only
