Hi I`m Jerold Bryant journeyman mechanic. Just happen to be working on the same make, model and year as your vehicle. There is actually only about three things giving you a no crank symptom. That is faulty start button, a bad starter relay under hood in fuse, relay box in front of brake master cylinder on drivers side. Internal component failure of solenoid, or armature windings broken loosing ground.. You have two electrical wires going to started solenoid, a 6 GA red battery cable, and a 10 GA white with a red stripe. Which is the control wire to activate the solenoid. The big red wire carries all the amperage needed to perform the work. Last but not least. My Mini Cooper 1.6L turbo had lost its ground at engine, and trans. Power delivered to starter with no rout to ground. This is very uncommon but I have seen it about seven times in 37 years under the hood. You can test this yourself using a test light or Volt/Ohms meter. Also check the small connector on the passenger side fire wall near A/C Lines going into fire wall with your 10 GA white with red stripe , and a solid green 16 GA wire going to cam position sensor. There you can access the red battery cable comes out of fire wall from your battery hidden under plastic molding below passenger side wind shield. It would benefit you to go to a trusted repair facility and get it diagnosed correctly and repaired. Assuming nothing weird, 78% the starter has probably failed. Good luck with it and have a great day. Jerry
