Hello. My Mini Cooper was running the smoke came out from the back thn it lost power and the engine switch it self off. Thn I checked the plugs plug no 3 had oil and plug no 4 burned what is the problem?

That is normally excess fuel. What about the oil: "The plug looking oily... was the oil on the threaded porition or was it on the ceramic portion?"

Only plug number 3 had oil and wen m turning the engine to start it doesn't want to start coz it doesn't hv enough compression

No problem. Does the engine sound normal when you are trying to start it? Normally they make a sound like g-g-g-g-g-g. However, if it makes a constant ggggggg sound, that could indicate a loss of compression.

Yes it does tht. I'd like to knw how do I fix it coz it started to do this after I've changed a pulley

Your first task is to do a compression test. You can borrow the tool from the local auto parts store, and use youtube for a how-to. Very easy. Don't overtighten it, and don't overtighten the spark plugs.
