It's not that easy to test, follow the a/ c lines and you will find them. Is the a/c light coming on when you command it

yes, the light comes on. I did look at the compressor and the belt does spin around, but the center does not spin. Si I believe this means the clutch is not engaging, but I do not know if that means the clutch is bad, compressor and clutch is bad or if a pressure switch is telling the clutch not to engage.

You will need to have someone with a/ c experience to check it. You will need put a scanner on it to see if you are getting command. Then see if power is going to compressor, not what you want to hear but if you play with it will cost you big bucks. Go to alldata and you can purchase service Manuel for your car. This is what the auto industry use

Will the Alldata manual provide instructions on how to replace the compressor, clutch and etc. or is this a waste of my time and just let the dealer/mechanic do it. Their is so much labor on the car to get at anything, it pays to just replace something, instead of paying for the labor twice.

Alldata covers everything on your car, but if you don't have experience with a/c I would have it looked at. Throwing parts at it can be more expensive! But if you like working on your car alldata would be good. I think it cost 30.00 for your car and you can have the service Manuel for 5 years on line
