The problem I am having has to do with repairing the passenger front door. This is not an engine issue. Can the mechanics fix something like that?

Someone tried breaking into the care because now its out of alignment and the inside door panel is coming off.

What makes this problem better or worse?

Slamming the door is the only way to ensure its closed. Closing the door by the door handle itself runs the danger of ripping the door off.
