What is your question?
This is a 2017, never owned, dealer inventory. On the side window it had a sign that said "hail damage repairs" $6,920.96. They are taking 5k off the sticker price. However, when we went to talk numbers, the salesman brought out a 3 page listing of all the repairs for the smashed rear-end. No mention of hail. No visible signs of damage - I even looked underneath. 60 hrs of body labor, 1 hr mechanicle & 12 hrs paint labor. $2,700 parts. When is it not a 'new car'? Is 5 k enough, cosidering it is a yr old (In service date for warranty is 11/19/2016.

To respond to your questions at the end -- $5,000 being enough is up to you to determine based on your comfort level. "Smashed Rear End" and "hail damage" are two completely different things. I would be concerned about structural damage on a "smashed" vehicle, beyond cosmetic sheet metal. Also, be advised that this car that has been "never owned" with a warranty in service date means that it has indeed been titled to someone -- even if it was a "loaner" or "rental" vehicle at the dealership. You've already lost a year of factory warranty, AND, it cannot be sold to you as a "NEW" car. My recommendation, if you are totally into this car, would be to ask for more information, more transparency, get all the facts, and decide if it's the right deal for you.
