I have a 93 Mercury Villager GS 3.0 there was crank but no start

we put a new fuel pump on and that was not the problem then I put a new distributor cap and rotor on even change the crank position sensor that wasn't it then I put the ignition coil brand new one on that's not it what could it be no spark

What makes this problem better or worse?
